The challenge
Sixth Avenue is an Australian streetwear label selling worldwide, with a small team and frequent product drops.
As the store grew, changes were being made by hand and support was eating the founder's time. They needed a way to ship improvements quickly without risking the live store.
What we built
Friction registry and AI opportunity matrix across seven workstreams, prioritised into a phased roadmap
Git-based theme pipeline with branch environments, Shopify GitHub integration, CI checks and pull-request reviews
End-to-end regression tests running in GitHub Actions on every change
Automated uptime and broken-link monitoring, tagged deploys and dependency updates
A voice-consistent support macro library and intent tagging in Gorgias
International cart and checkout improvements, plus mobile UX fixes
Results
Safe to ship
Every theme change now goes through version control, tests and review before it reaches the store
Always monitored
Uptime, links and CI are checked automatically, so issues surface early
Faster support
A shared macro library and tagging make replies consistent and quicker
Clear roadmap
Friction points ranked by impact, so effort goes where it pays back
